Navy and White

I just brought out my white jeans since they are considered 'acceptable' after Easter until Labour Day. It is a relief to be able to wear them again since they match with everything.  I went with a classic color scheme today and paired white and navy.  This will always be one of my favorite color combinations, especially with a hint of brown which I added in with a belt and my sunglasses.  My white jeans are a little bit loose because I think it looks cute to where loose white jeans in the summer.  When it is 80 degrees who wants skin tight pants?

Shift Dresses

Summer is approaching and one of my favorite trends for the season are shift dresses.  They are in all of the stores I shop at lately and it is hard for me not to try on every single one.  What I love is that these dresses are so easy to just throw on wether you are going to school, to the beach, or spending a day doing errands.  Not to mention, they are really comfortable since they aren't skin tight, which also makes them flattering.  I own probably too many shift dresses, some of my favorites are from Urban Outfitter's and Tilly's.  Check out my favs by choosing a number below.

Sleeveless Flannel

Since my school is on break this week, yesterday I spent the day shopping.  I took my younger sister because I wanted to buy her some things since she always takes pictures for me, but I ended up getting a few things for myself too.  At Forever 21 I picked up this sleeveless flannel, which is genius.  I think everyone loves flannels, so the fact that I can now where them year round is great.  It was only $20 and is pretty good quality for something you would find at Forever 21.  I also got these sunglasses from Francesca's, I don't have anything like them, so I bought them since they're really fun.

Coachella

Now that Coachella is finally over, I gathered a few of my favorite looks to share.  Coachella fashion is pure crazy, bohemian style, and while some looks work, others don't.  Even though a lot of the outfits below are somewhat wild, I think they work really well for this music festival.

My favorite look is probably the second one with the jean jacket and flower cut-out dress.  Which one did you like the best?

Sunglasses and Sandals

It is that time of the season to break out your flowy, gypsy pants again.  Not only are these the most comfortable pants ever, but they are so fashionable right now and earned me so many compliments at school.  I paired them with a crop top which I borrowed from my friend Maeve, I love the lacey bottom of the shirt.  Finally, I brought out my sandals and sunglasses!

Workout Wear + Routine

With Spring having finally arrived for good, I now have a little bit of motivation to workout and have a fit body for summer.  This week my school is on vacation and I'm just hanging out in my town, so my goal is to workout at least 5/7 of the days.  One of my favorite things about working out, not gonna lie, is picking out what to wear.  I feel so tumblr when I have a cute workout outfit.  Most things I workout in are from Nike.  I love their spandex and their shoes, and although some of their gear is expensive, it is the best quality.  I also really like Lululemon, they have great headbands and leggings.

Here is my workout routine.  I choose two from the three bolded categories (ex. cardio and legs +butt).  If I get bored of these routines I substitute in new exercises once in a while, but I find these the most effective.  If you are going to try out these exercises and don't know what one is, google it and their are plenty of videos and images that can explain each exercise.

Spring Break Locations

I know many Spring breaks have already happened, but I think the majority are next week, including my school's spring break.  I'm unfortunately not going anywhere, which sucks because there are so many different places I wish I could go this April.

Turks and Caicos

The things I would do to be on that island right now.  The water is crystal clear there and the temperature is perfection.  Sitting on the beach and indulging in a good novel feels like heaven on this Caribbean island.  Click here to see photos from my trip to Turks and Caicos.

Naples, Florida

Here in New England the classic Spring break location is somewhere in southern Florida.  I've been to Naples twice and absolutely love it.  Although it doesn't quite compare to the Caribbean, it is much cheaper and has quite the nightlife.  I also think the little beach towns are so cute to walk around in especially in this area.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica is the place to be if you are looking for more of an adventure.  Of course you can check out the tourist beach areas; however, the other half of the island has mountains, beaches, and rain forests, so if sitting on a beach all day isn't your thing, Costa Rica is wonderful.  I went two years ago with my family and we would all go back again in a heartbeat.

LA, California

Once again, not quite tropical but LA has heat and beaches, and what else do you need?  Plus, Los Angeles has such a good vibe.  The palm trees, delicious mexican food, and tall mountains make it my favorite city in America.  I'd love to spend my spring break there being tourist-y.

Dubai

Okay Dubai is a 13 hour flight away and a very expensive plane ticket, but oh my goodness this city is amazing.  I want to visit so badly to see the advanced architecture and the amazing hotels.  This is my number one dream vacation destination in the entire world.  If you have the time google Dubai if you haven't before, it is such a unique, futuristic city.

Classic Spring Look

Today was (in my mind) the first official Spring day in my town.  The sun was shining and we reached 65 degrees.  With it a reality that summer is actually on its way, I've been trying to eat healthier to get my bikini body :)  If you want to find out my workout routine or some eating healthy tips or recipes, check back on my blog later because I have some ideas planned.

Today I put together a classic little look, that is perfect for the spring weather.  I paired plain denim jeans with a blank tank top so I could wear my leopard flats.  I love styling a basic outfit with fun accessories.  These leopard flats along with my purse and sunglasses were the perfect touches to complete this look.

Summer 2015 Bikini's

During the summer I practically live in swimsuits since I'm constantly at the beach or pool with my friends, and I like looking cute.  Bikini's are one of my favorite things to shop for because a.) they pump me up for summer and b.) there are so many styles and colors to choose from.  I mainly wear bandeaus, those are more comfortable to me since they don't have straps pushing down on your shoulders and necks.  This year I really want to try a Triangle bathing suit, they look like great quality and are all the rage.  I also want to test out a sportier bathing suit (bottom left corner), because I like that sporty/ beach-y vibe.

Style Icon: Vanessa Hudgens

This is the month of Coachella, so who else to choose as April's style icon, but Vanessa Hudgens (aka Coachella Queen).  I LOVE Vanessa's street style.  Even if she is extremely causal I feel like she is always making a statement and is one person who never takes a break from her signature style.  She definitely works the bohemian vibe, which makes her the perfect Queen of Coachella.  Here are some of my favorite looks of hers.

This look is my personal favorite (above).

Look number 5 takes the win for me.  Which one is your favorite?

Easter Outfit

Happy Easter!  Easter is definitely one of my favorite days of the year.  This year my sister's and I woke up around 8 and opened out Easter baskets which consisted of mostly candy, plus I got a little Vera Bradley wristlet and some bath and body stuff from Bath and Body Works.  Then we had a nice breakfast as a family and had our annual egg hunt.  Although we are all over the Easter Bunny thing, we still make sure to have an egg hunt every year.  The rest of the day we hung out, then went out to dinner with our family friends.

I wore a blue and white dress from American Eagle which I totally love, the pattern is classic and one of my favorites.  It is still chilly where I live so I added a jean jacket and wore my tall brown boots with it to stay warm.  I feel like jean jackets are a must during this time of year, check out the one I'm wearing here.

(not my best pictures, it started to rain while taking them which made the lens blurry)
